#7 in Books of the Year list

Nice to see my book in the new issue of Electronic Sound. And happy & humbled that it made #7 in Books of the Year amidst such illustrious company.

The “don’t be fooled by the word ‘pop’ here” is an interesting comment, and they’re not the first to make it. I hummed & ha’d about using the word ‘music’ (inc classical?) or ‘rock’ (nah) or ‘popular music’ (too long), but in the end went for the short & snappy term, even if I use it in its VERY broadest sense and the book itself is far from short & snappy!
